On Monday (9th Nov) I was sat down to review what had happened to the UK hospitality shares I mentioned last week, in the week since the announcement of England’s second “lockdown”. Then the smoke alarm went off. Was someone burning the toast? No the markets were on fire! Pfizer / BioNTech announced that their fledgling Coronavirus was 90% effective and showed no adverse side effects. This sent the markets into rapture - not least the hospitality sector, that I had been reviewing. I will blend observations on that into the original narrative here. This is Gold content!
